Just Serrano-Zamora is Ramón y Cajal Researcher at the Department of Philosophy at the Universitat de Barcelona. He works at the intersection of Frankfurt School Critical Theory and Pragmatism. He is interested in radical democracy, struggles for emancipation, and the role science in society. He has published Democratization and Struggles Against Injustice (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021). Currently, he is principal investigator of “DEMOLIFE” research project, which explores the view that democracy is not only a form of government, but also a social form of life.

Treballa a la intersecció entre la Teoria Crítica de l’Escola de Frankfurt i el Pragmatisme. Li interessa la democràcia radical, les lluites per l’emancipació i el paper de la ciència en la societat. Ha publicat Democratization and Struggles Against Injustice (Rowman & Littlefield, 2021). Actualment, és investigador principal del projecte de recerca “DEMOLIFE”, que explora la idea que la democràcia no és només una forma de govern, sinó també una forma social de vida.
